Gender Pay Gap
The Hurley Group are required to carry out Gender Pay Reporting under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017. This involves carrying out six calculations that show the difference between the average earnings of men and women in our organisation.
We are required to publish the results on our own website and a government website.
At the time of the survey (31st March 2021), The Hurley Group employed 349 female employees compared to 113 males at the snapshot date of the 31st March 2021 and as seen from the percentage figures from the gender pay gap quartiles there has been an increase for the proportion of women in the upper quartiles and men in the lower quartile. We have 26 more full pay relevant females than last year, compared with 11 males. The mean gender pay gap has been improving incrementally since we have been tracking and publishing this data and currently now stands at -5.8%. The results of these statutory calculations are as follows:
